Dear GMCS Families and Friends,
Beginning Tuesday, September 7th, all students, staff, and visitors of GMCS must wear face coverings, regardless of vaccination status while in the school building and on the bus, unless they are exempt from wearing them.
GMCS will continue with our current Covid-19 mitigation strategies
·Masks do not need to be worn during:
o   Outdoor activities
o   In-door gym [with 6’ separation]
o   Mask breaks
o   Meals
·Acceptable face coverings:
o   Double layer cloth masks – fit over nose & mouth
o   Gaiters
o   Bandanas
o   Face shields – cover ear to ear, 2” below chin, with foam on forehead
Thank you for your continued support; together our mitigation strategies have been highly effective in safe-guarding our school family. We acknowledge your frustrations and angst with this pandemic.  Please be assured of our commitment to you in providing Montessori focused learning for the whole child: intellectual, emotional, social, and physical.
If you believe that you or your child are legally exempt from the PDE masking mandate, please return the attached form to the school.
